Why is my feeder stopping? Is there a way to fix it?

Both me and a friend have same issue, I exchanged some emails last week with them and sending both in tomorrow as they think its a weak motor issue. It also causes it to over feed as it completes rotation with in the allowed time set in the code that it starts another rotation. If under warranty i would email them

This happened to mine as well right at the year mark. Not very impressed with the quality of the product.

Thanks...I just got it Saturday from BRS and it didn't even last 24 hrs. I just did a support ticket. Lets see what they do for me.

Take the hopper off and deploy it see if all the keys line up on the orange shaft and the black shaft

The only way I have been able to get mine to retract all the way is to use the switch in apex to turn on then back off. With auto it stays out

Take note to the notches make sure all four are lined up in the right position

For some reason the dont line up....no matter how many times I turn it on.....In auto or On to off....

I did a support ticket last night and when so got up this morning I had a response. Looks like they will be sending me a new one. That's fast.

That was fast, was that through Neptune or who you bought it from? I had to send mine to Neptune for testing as they said they hadn't seen that issue before. Just arrived there today so hope i hear back tomorrow.

Mine is due back tomorrow. Their customer service I am happy with so far to this point.

I sent it back twice...been running great for 4 weeks now....fingers crossed...They know they have a issue with them, Don't understand why they are giving people a hard time getting them fixed.

I got one of these and ran it for a few days and it stopped working. Open the ticket and got a new one in two days no questions asked. I got it a day before I left to go out of town. I was too scared to run it so I went with the trustee all Eheim. This thing has been my closet for a year running the whole time. So much quieter and better quality Than the AFS.
