so I just put my first fish in my first salt tank. Its a 280g and so far i have added 2 clowns 2 royal grammas, and a serpent star. The fish are tiny so im using the smallest pellets I could find. As of right now I'm feeding them twice a day but i am wanting to add some anthias in the next couple weeks and I read that they need to be fed multiple times a day. So I was thinking about adding an auto feeder but I don't have a apex to get my pumps to go into to feed mode during the scheduled feed time. Is there something I can do to keep from my feed going done my over flow? The pellets are sinkers but alot of them still float

Melevs sells an acrylic piece to contain the food until it sinks. I just bought one, works great.

I put my auto feeder in my sump above the return pump, there's enough turbulence to get the floating pellets to break surface tension and get circulated back into the tank where my fish eat them pretty quick.

A small powerhead in the return chamber also helps to keep any pellets from getting caught in dead spots.
