I bought an Eheim fish feeder to start using for my 15 fish, while away on vacation and during day while I'm at work. Currently I mostly feed frozen mysis, brine, seaweed, and some Ocean Nutrition formula II flakes every now and then.

I am getting ready to go away for 10 days and wanted to get this thing set up and running before I leave. I need suggestions for how to mount this on my tank and what kind of food to use.

I do not have a canopy, but my tank does have two center braces. I also have a screen top to keep my fish from jumping, which makes mounting it on the trim difficult. Can I mount this on my sump and have my return pump bring the food up to the display? Or would that not work.

I wouldn't the sump to have the return suck it up. It could cause pump failure and the return may not suck all food, making left over in the sump. How about your lights, what do you have? Could mount higher? You want a clean look I take it. Easy way would be sit on the screen top, opposite corner of overflow.
