Auto shut off for RO filter

Hi, i have an aqualight super 1500 RO filter and I want to shut it off when my container is full. I only see a couple of off the shelf solitions (level sensor + solenoid) but these are both for 1/4in tubes and mine is 1/2in... how is everyone else controlling their RO output?

I feel that I am missing something. My unit product page says it has a solenoid built in but nothing in the user manual...

The best bet is to find a reducer. 1/2 to 1/4. Not sure where to locate one in Europe.

Solenoid Valve for 1/2" tubing

Anyone able to recommend a 1/2" solenoid that is compatible with the apex - like SV-1 Solenoid Valve but for larger tubing? @SuncrestReef

I use a float valve: https://amzn.to/3Vqmo9c. And since most float switches support 1/4 quick connect fittings, and your system is 1/2in, I would add a reducer as someone else suggested: https://amzn.to/4a8k1fA
