Hello, I was looking for some ideas of what you guys use for auto top off reservoirs. I have to find one for my tank however I do not have much room. I have only about 5 inches wide and 20 inches deep, height isn't an issue since it will be outside of my tank stand. So it would be best to find some sort of narrow fit container that can hold between 3-5 gallons. I saw some online vendors sell 5 inch wide reservoirs but cost around $100. Any thoughts?

Make your own? I use a 5 gallon bucket for my bigger tank, but haven't come up with something yet for the smaller one. I'll most likely be making one from acrylic...

Camping water jug. I had the same problem

I use a dog food container I found at Petco for the topoff container on my 50.
I'd suggest looking there or Petsmart.

I saw that but could find the dimension. Do you know what they are?

They have other smaller and bigger sizes too. These measurements are from the top part of the container, it tapers down at the bottom.

make your own just need a container and airline if height isn't a issue you don't need a pump just leave it gravity fed

5 gal container from my lfs is only 11 bucks I'm sure you can find a camping reservoir at Walmart or a farmers market
