I only have a 29 gallon with very limited space in the sump so I was looking what is on offer in respect to automatic top-up systems and came across this:

http://www.reefloat.com/index.php/atu-pro3-auto-top-up.html

Anyone familiar with this and/or using it? I do like the idea of having a drum next to the tank from where the job gets done but with the exchange rate it does not land very cheap in Australia! So would like some feedback if anyone knows the system.

They also cater for an automatic water change set-up but price wise that is a little steep at the moment and I am happy to do the little bit of manual maintenance every week.

have you looked at the autoaquos micro link

Had a quick look, has a sole distributor in Australia which then links to a few shops around the place but can't seem to find a price but will check again later. Thanks for the link.
Just looking to see if Australia has Amazon.com. Evidently one can order books and nothing else link to US Amazon

The OP is from AU:) looking for a reasonably price small ATO.

Do they sell the Icecap ATO or Tunze Universal ATO in Australia? They're both small, reasonably priced, and have good reputations. An auto top off isn't something I would buy a no-name brand with. Anything that automatically adds water... you want a trusted brand so you don't end up with a flood.

I do not know if they ship international, but I bet they do.

I have used the auto top off from www.Autotopoff.com for years, with a Maxijet 1200 pump (any pump will work) ant it has always been awesome. I upgraded to the double float system just for safety. The seller is very responsive, and covered the one warranty issue I had even though it was a couple months out of warranty.

Appreciate that, if it does the free shipping as promised it will actually be cheaper than the UK one.

Icecap ATO I can't see but Tunze I do, nearly AU$400 though. Thanks for all the names though, will keep on looking.

What about the Autoaqua Smart ATO.

Tunze also has a nano version of the Osmolator. Can you get that one??

I use a JBL auto top off in my 29, along with a 5 gal bucket for a resevour. It comes with a double sensor and has been very reliable for over a year in my 75 gal. I have had one in my 29 for 4 months, zero complaints. I purchased a small pump from Amazon, but any small pump will do. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I will spend some time looking at all the options given and see what I can get here or at least get here at a reasonable price.
