hi all
I’m right in putting mine in my return pump chamber aren’t i.
And how many times would you say yours comes on and off just that mine seems to do it a lot only putting a bit in at a time.

My experience is that yes it adds in short cycles.

Yes, return section. How often it goes on depends on your ATO and the sensors it uses. I use a Tunze 3155 and it pops on maybe every 30 minutes - 1 hour.

I run my ATO return pipe into the return pump section as well since it mixes some first, then shoots it out into my tank mixing it further. A couple suggestions:

1. Make sure your return pipe is not below water or you could reverse siphon your tank water into your ATO reservoir.

2. Make sure the end of your return pipe is above your ATO reservoir water line, or your pipe might siphon water on its own into your sump until the heights are equal. I have mine fixed in place with a zip tie to my return pump pipe.
