Auto topoff magnet corroded?

Hello all, I have an aquadueto auto too off in my tank since the start around 7 months old. On my first icp test the tank came back with high tin, I am just making sure that these magnets in the auto top off don’t look like they are compromised. I can’t see water get in from any cracks, but the tank did have tin and aluminum. So I’m a bit lost. Thanks for your time. I have checked all shafts, return pumps, skimmer pumps, no screws hiding anywhere and nothing rusting.

If you read posts Tin seems to be a common contaminant though not real firm what the course of action should be. I too have some Tin and it doesn't seem to have detrimental effects on my tank.

One thing that can contribute to Tin is flexible PVC which many of us use. The Tin is added to make the hose flexible instead of rigid. I often wonder if the plastic vials leach Tin into samples though no real way to test that.

That said, it does make sense to address the corrosion either way. Any water changes and macro algae will help to reduce those numbers over time.
