I have a 10 gallon aquarium that I would like to automate a water change on with dosing pumps....Because, why not.

Would you have the water change happen all at once? (Say 1gal every Saturday)

Or a little every day? ( say 1/7 gal every day)

I would use a spectrapure litermeter An let it do its thing 24/7. Way overkill for a 10g but like you said, why not? lol.

I'm thinking of using the DoS for this, but still haven't decided yet.

Change Mon-Sat. Make new water on Sunday.

Speaking of which, I made water about a week and a half ago. I REALLY need to mix some salt into it and flip my DOSes back on.

Do you have any issues with other elements creeping high on you?

What percentage do you change daily?

I couldn't really say. My testing was.....sporadic at best for a long time. I've only really begun regular testing recently and I'm using a calcium reactor as well. I've been changing a lot of water to help bring my magnesium down from bryopsis treatment levels over 2000 ppm, but 1% daily seems like a common number.
