A lot smarter people on here than me but im about to plumb everything for my Apex.

I use an auto waterchange system. I have a 55gallon mixing station that is plummed into my apex DOS and setup to change 1 gallon a day. The old water goes into my drain from my washing machine. You just need to calibrate it and the rest is history.

My Tank Thread
All you need is a dual head pump (or two pumps you can closely match in rate) and a timer.
being able to adjust the flow a bit for each independently is a plus.On the same timer, one pumps water into the tank from a new salt water reservoir, and the other pumps it out to a drain.

I've been doing waterchanges manually when I could be doing it automaticly! I'd love e to have an auto waterchange system going for my 80.
Its one of the best things ive done. I do 1gal per day on my 70g. Its about a 30% change a month.

I'd love to so it but I doubt I have the space on my sr80. I don't have a sump and I barly had room for my auto topoff system.
Also might be a little out of the budget.
