Hello, I have decided to add an auto water changer to my tank, but I can not find the AutoAqua Auto Water Changer in Stock anywhere (BRS, Marine Depot, Amazon, Ebay). Does anyone know where I can find this in stock, or any other comparable products? I really would like the option to change pumps as well because I have to pump 10' vertically.

I am about to make one with a Coralvue Hydros XS. It arrived yesterday so todays the day.

I am going to run AC pumps off the WIFI power strip. I only have a few feet of head so I am going to use 3 maxijet 1200 for drain, ATO and fill.
The power strip has 4 ports will handle 10 amps. That is your only limitation.
So I already have an ATO, so I would just need 2 pumps and 2 optical sensors correct?

I am no genius with this thing, I just got it.

But yes that will work. You would plug your ATO you have now into the power strip on the Hydros and it would turn it off while doing a water change.
The only problem is you would have to get high level sensors at exactly the same height for both systems.

I'm sorry I don't understand, what do you mean high level sensors for both systems?

You have 2 systems. The ATO adds water to a certain level. The water changer takes water out and then fills it back to a certain level. The only way those 2 levels will be the same if is the sensors are carefully placed right.

Oh and the Hydros AWC has not been released yet. That page I found is for a future release.

What’s the cost of something like this…for someone that doesn’t have ANY of the components yet?

I had 2 Maxijets already. Though any small AC pump would probably work. You need 3 pumps.
And miscellaneous stuff like tubing.

Have you set this up? I am looking at options for autowater changes as well.

Waste - I have a pump in sump that is set on a timer (Apex) and pumps into a 5 gallon container. I set the time to fill that container up to 80%. I have a float switch at the top for an added safety measure.

Clean - This pumps to my sump and is controlled by a timer (Apex) and float switch (Avaste ATO) + an emergency float switch (Madison). I set the timer to run a little longer than the waste pump.

The waste container is used to: prevent back siphon (unlikely, still) and verify the amount of water removed each day. It has a bulkhead at the bottom with a John guest valve attached.
