Hello,

I have a 120 gallon with 20 gallon sump tank that is set up as a mixed reef tank. I am currently doing weekly water changes at about 15 to 20 gallons a week. Everything is good but I have been thinking about simplifying the process and getting a DOS unit and set it up for auto water changes. I was thinking about 3 gallons a day for 5 days (15 gallons a week or 10% roughly), then 2 days off, then repeat. The 2 days off will allow for new water to be made and stabilized before going into the tank. The container holds about 30 gallons so I would only have to do this twice a month but for ease of programming do 5 on and 2 off. What do you guys think? Any downfalls to it? Will it be good for the tank? Thanks.

Yeah the pump is not quite. It’s not obnoxious but you can hear it if it’s in your main room.
I love it though
