I just submitted a ticket to CoralVue but I thought I'd come here as well to see if someone might be able to help. I've had the unit set up for about 2 weeks. Just using it for water changes. Small at about a gallon a day on my system. It has worked very nicely until recently. I unplugged it on Saturday while doing some maintenance on the tank. It happened to be during the time it was doing a water change. When I plugged it back in yesterday evening it started a change right away. Not needing one I pulled the low water level sensor up out of the water to sense air to stop the pump. The fill pump started up 3 minutes later to fill the little that was taken out. A few minutes later it started a change again on its own. I again pulled the low water sensor out to stop the pump and let it finish out the change. If I remember correctly it attempted one more change and it was at that time I pulled the plug for good.

Today I went to plug the unit back in to try and redo the water change schedule and all the unit does now is the touch screen blinks showing all the graphics and the unit beeps 5 times. There is a slight pause after five then it goes into a five beep cycle again. It continues to do this over and over until I unplug it.

I've unplugged and plugged it back in numerous times, I've disconnected the pumps, I've put the sensors in the water and taken them out and I've pressed the home button for ten to fifteen seconds in hope for a reset of the unit. So far nothing has worked. Does anyone think or know of a possible solution or is there a hardware issue? Hoping someone with one of these has had the same or similar experience and found an easy resolution.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You could try to reset again (Press home button for more than 8 seconds) to make it back to the original setting.

After submitting a ticket through CoralVue I had some back and forth emailing with a customer service representative explaining the problem. They asked for proof of purchase and a short video of the issue. It was determined the head unit had gone bad for some reason. Because of the issue and that I am within the warranty period they will be sending out a new one shortly.
All said and done I will be very happy when the new unit is in hand and I'm performing automatic water changes again. Hopefully this was an anomaly and the new one will give me years of good service.
