Automatic doser

Anyone know whats the likelyhood of an automatic doser staying on? Ive got a ghl gen 1 programmable 3 peristaltic pump that doses my tank, and it worries me about sticking in the on position. Not likely? Its never happened but im worried about it.

Misprogramming dosers does seem to happen occasionally.
