I'm thinking about adding a auto filter roller for my 400g and was wondering what you all suggest that could do the job?

For really big tanks:

Royal Exclusiv Single Vlies Fleece Dreambox - 2500

Sea Visions CADS Cloth 600 - 1600

Most of the rollers we commonly see cannot handle all that much gph, or at least the max advertised ratings are not that high. You can use a smaller version like the deltec but probably can only run half your water through it, which is probably a better balance anyway.

Here is the actual solution. This thing is bullet proof, and a serious piece of equipment. These will process up to 3000 gallons an hour. Nothing else comes close.

I'm looking into the Klir 7" to replace the 7" filter socks. They say they can handle up to 1800 GPH. I have 2 on order now. I'm going to test it on my 210G that has 2x 7" filter socks. If that works well I'm going to upscale it for a new tank I'm going to be having made that will be 400-550G (once I move to Hawaii in a couple of months!!!!). I figure I'd need 3-4 of the Klir total for that (or just 2 and then keep 2x 7" socks for the extra flow). I'm thinking about the Tideline 72" sump for my new setup and it has 4x 7" socks.

If you can get one X Filter 1.7 and I believe they export worldwide

Fine and simple engineering. I’ve got one in each tank and in the big tank it’s just lasted nearly 4 months between rolls. It supports up to 10,000 lph

It lasts so long I have to look up how to change it! Lol

I plumbed in an external rollermat, one overflow goes to the roller mat, then the sump, 2nd overflow goes directly to the sump. I love it, I don't have to worry about changing socks or filter floss. Just check on it once and a while to make sure its rolling. When I installed mine I dry fit everything and was able to remove and do maintenance with little hassle. Once I got everything finalized I realized I had to make a few adjustments and didn't give my self quite enough room to remove all the pipes necessary for easy maintenance. Which has become an awkward and sometimes wet game of twister with out the mat and spinner.
