Automatic Sump lighting

I would like to rig some LEDs to come on when I open the doors to the sump. I know there is a magnetic switch that will turn them on when the door is opened. Anyone have one of these setups? How does it work? The magnetic switches I am seeing just have 2 wires coming out of the sensor. How do these wire up?
