Tonight is the official attempt with automatic water changes with Neptune DOS , I've tested both pumps with amazing accuracy at 4000 ml running on high speed I will be doing 1 gallon twice daily, once storage container gets low I'll stop DOS schedule and make a new batch. Fingers crossed lol

Very cool. Hope the pumps last a long time for you. AutoMatin water changes have come a long way. When I first looked into it 7-8 years ago you had to get metered pvc valves and pumps. Crazy expensive

I wonder about the pumps too, even though the DOS is made for it

DOS pumps are stepper motors I believe, so they should last a long time.

I hope it works for you. Since I've been doing automatic water changes, I've been able to enjoy the tank much more and focus on more aspects of the tank.

Howd this work out for you? Im in the process of trying to makeup my mind here. Either use the dos for wc, or a series of floats and pumps to get this right

I do not know how he made out. But I have my DOS set for 7570ml every night. It works great for me. Had it set up for 3 months or so.

I do a change of 7563ml everynight with my DOS. Works great. I have 2 40B setup under a table hidden by table cloths by the tank. One for ASW and one for water from the DT. Been setup almost a year
