Has anyone tried filling a zeo reactor with simple biomedia?
The idea is this: slow flow through the reactor promotes nitrification and then de-nitrification. Regular flushing of the biomedia dislodges bacteria flock, feeding the aquarium zeovit style. It also helps to keep the media from clogging, so hopefully I don't need to change any media for a long time.
Any thoughts?
