I just had an avalanche on one whole side of my 180g! I was plugging the holes of Vermetid worms and it came tumbling. I broke quite a few SPS's and rocks fell on a lot of LPS's. My arms aren't long enough to reach to fix the rock work either. I can hear my husband now...What did you do this time??? I will have to sweet talk him into fixing it when he gets home.. I am SOOOOOO mad at myself!

Wow, I did the exact thing yesterday. Mine wasn't as bad as yours though. Hope you don't have any losses.

Connie, hopefully, the damage will be minimal...

I think everything is going to live. I got it all back together. I'm just gonna have to do some unplanned fragging...lol

Ritter - I was putting the red epoxy on those snails and they just push it right off. What do you use?

And we all thought that a womens hand was so gentle.:fear:Maybe you need to get that rock secured and keep them paws out of the tank. lol

Good to hear!

I'm trying the Instant Ocean epoxy. I'm making a small "snake" and shoving it down the hole. So far I don't see them pushing it out. I also did a few by sticking the bottle of superglue gel underwater and squirting it directly in the hole. It worked but I think I messed up the bottle of superglue gel so I scratched that idea. The ones I can reach I'm cutting off the rock with frag cutters. They usually come of easily but some are a little tougher and that's how I ended up knocking my rocks down.

I hate em! Worse than Aiptasia IMO.

I just got a copperband butterfly and I noticed less "snail slime" in my tank than usual. It isn't eating the snails but I think it's picking at them and keeping them in the tube instead of extended and making mucus nets.

Good luck with that butterfly i tried one and he almost ate all my corals.

Use epoxy but put a dab of crazy glue on one side and stick that to their opening. They can't push it away then

Mike - This woman is a like bull in a china shop. My fish would be confused if I didn't have my hands in there daily...and I just can't let them down...lol

Great idea slapshot! I will try that next. They are mainly on one rock. I could take it out if it wasn't for the Christmas Tree worm on it.
