Avast feeder pump stopped working!!

I've been using avast marine auto feeder for a year... Worked great!
the pump jammed after a year lol.

Tried cleaning but impeller didn't wanna come out.. Even after vinegar bath.... Even tried pliers.

What to do... Pics attached

The original pump was junk. They have an upgrade for Sicce now: https://www.avastmarine.com/products/plank-v3-5-mixing-pump-upgrade

New sicce pump is working well..

Wondering if majority of reefers running pump constant ON or only when feeder ON?!

For longevity intermittent good, for not getting stuck constant ON good... Wonder what's best

Initially I turned it on the same time as the feeder and left it on for five minutes to be safe. Eventually I ran out of APEX outlets and just plugged it in to be on 24/7. You're probably ok either way.

We recommend leaving the Sicce pump running 24/7. It helps prevent water getting stagnant and is a convenient spot to drop frozen food or anything else that you want to dose into the tank.

I have run this feeder for years upgraded all 3 of them to the new pumps. I run them 24/7. This is the BEST FEEDER ON THE MARKET PERIOD! I cannot say that enough. On top of a great product the service at AVAST is AMAZING! I RUN THEIR SKIMMERS, FEEDERS, NECK CLEANERS, WASTE CONTAINERS, TOP OFFS, ETC. Their stuff just works.
