Avast K1 Kalk Stirrer probe hole

Setting up K1 Kalk Stirrer and wondering what this probe hole is for? What probes are people putting in their kalk slurry? Isn’t ph like 12. Something? Such small drips temperature would not matter.

Conductivity probe to know saturation level is how I have seen some used.

I run mine stock. The hole is just plugged. I have no extras on it, due to maintenance, changing or adding Kalk every two weeks.

Most run a PH probe in it although that’s not very accurate to determine saturation. A conductivity probe would be a better option.
