We developed these simple dosing containers in order to provide an attractive and convenient means of storing liquid additives such as two-part calcium & alkalinity solutions. We felt that a secure lid that seals to the barrel with an o-ring would be a better way to protect against spills compared to the loose lid designs found elsewhere.
Usage is simple: just connect R/O tubing between the speedfit connections at the top of the barrels and your dosing pumps. The pumps will draw the solutions out via the tube that extends to the bottom of the barrels. The speedfit bulkhead fittings are installed such that they allow a slight amount of air in to replace the liquid as it is removed.
