I’m picking up an Avast Marine K1 kalk stirrer today, and I noticed that it has a port for a pH probe. It seems that will be useful for monitoring the pH inside of the stirrer to ensure that a fully-saturated solution is being dosed. It will be helpful to receive alerts when the pH drops, indicating that more calcium hydroxide needs added.
If you have this model of kalk stirrer and use a pH probe, what has your experience been?
I assume the probe will need cleaned and calibrated regularly, which is fine, but I want to ensure that I’m not missing anything important.
