Need help with programming my auto feeder which is an Avast Marine Plank. It is working great and of course, the issue is the Apex. Before putting the auto feeder online, I ran it for a few days independent of the system it feeds. After reviewing the log, it looks like the feeder is coming on 6 min later each day. For example, on the 13th, it ran as programmed @ 8:56, 12:57, and 16:58. The next day it ran @ 9:02, 1:03, and 17:04. Each day 6 minutes is added. How do I fix this issue? I want it to come on at the same time each day. Thanks in advance. The code I am using is below.

You forgot to post the code. I’m guessing you’re using OSC with timer values that add up to the extra 6 minutes.

Your OSC cycle is 241 minutes (4 hours and 1 minute). Since that doesn’t divide equally into a 24 hour day, it runs later each day. Reduce the 3rd timer by 1 minute:

OSC 000:00/000:20/239:40 Then ON

Watch my OSC Tutorial for details on how OSC works:

Thank you! I just viewed the video here so didnt catch it on notes. Thanks!

Do you like this feeder? What do you feed from it, pellets?

The feeder is pretty incredible I mix coral food, pellets, freeze dried mysis, bloodworm, brine etc and just add it to feeder.
The only downside is having to clean the pump/tubing once every other week.

I am looking for something more for pellets as when I am home I can feed frozen? Does it have a decent selection of amount dispensed? My current feeder goes from about 20 pellets to a few hundred. Nothing in between. Haha

You control how many you want by how long the spin motor runs for. So you can do test runs and see if you just need 5seconds of 1minute or more to reach your goal but you can finely adjust it to whatever your needs are.
