Avast marine vibe pump placement

Cleaned out my fuge removed the mud and macro. So now I have an empty chamber. Been thinking of using it as a frag section.

However my question is for the vibe pump where are you suppose to place it the return chamber with the return pump or in the middle fuge chamber?

i believe the Vibe is meant to be externally - and it is not to be submerged.

Correct. I'm trying to determine where to put the pump second chamber or third chamber with the return pump

I believe it doesnt matter where the intake pump is at. However, Zeo you want the mulm to pass into the tank to feed the corals. So, I would place the intake in the second chamber and the output into the return pump section. That way you're not sucking up the bacteria you just pumped out of the vibe.

As long as it's after the skimmer it don't matter.
I would put the vibe feed pump in the second chamber and the exit into the final chamber that way you don't re-run the same water

Thanks that's great advice guys I never thought about recirculating water that was already filtered through the vibe.

Do you think it would be wise to remove the frag section in the second chamber then?

The frag section won't hurt anything
