Hi all!

I just installed an Avast Plank feeder on my 30 gallon aio, and I'm a bit concerned -

It seems that once the drum drops food in the tube, it almost Immediately shoots out the bottom and floats to the surface. I was under the impression that the food would remain in the tube until it's rehydrated enough to remain suspended.

Seems like there's no point in having the tube / pump at all if the food is just going to be released into the tank and float to the surface. Am I missing something?

Did you adjust the pump flow down any? I adjusted mine to about half on the slider on the bottom of the pump.
