Ok Got a used skimmer set up with neck cleaner Love. It. But this avast neck cleaner has me puzzled. Is it suppose to pop you lid like this? Is this why they show screws to hold your lid on? I can only read the instalation instructions so many times.

I fixed it. with a zip tie....... the problem--- seems to be that gravity allows the cleaning blade to sag somewhat.
( i.d.k) but now its functions properly... the neck is nice and clean with no jumping...
I bought it used so avast marine is not on the hook here. i suspect that it may have been dropped somewhere in the past because it did look like the shaft was bent ( maybe)
