This morning I put my hand in my tank to place nori in my feeder and noticed my temperature was high.looked at my apex dashboard and my temp probe shows 20.7!dead drop in the middle of the night, heated must have kicked on temp in tank is 90.hopefully it doesn't do much damage.everything looks fine for the moment.good reason to swap temp probe regularly

Fingers crossed! Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. A spike to 90 is on the high end to be honest, and I hope that it was only just for a little bit. Wishing the best for ya!

What steps did you take to bring the temperature back down? Any before and after pictures of corals you could share?

Turned off lights
Turned on fans
Opened cabinet
Turned ac down
Definitely a broken temp sensor, just replaced it with a new one
Added a line in programming to turn in off heater if it's running for over 30 min
