I have an apex and I'm debating dosing pumps. I've bought 3 Versa's but I'm not sold on using them yet because I do have an apex.

AWC - either Versa's or DOS. I heard the DOS is louder but the integration with the Apex is nice. How much louder is the DOS? the price is the same so moot there. I've read quality complaints on both, mostly maintenance related. I've also considered the spectrapure but that costs a bit more.

CalRx - I was thinking of going versa or kamoer (wifi). If I go with the Vera's for awc and this then I can control them and my mp60s via mobius. But I've heard the quality of the kamoer is way better.

What would you choose?

I am using the DOS for AWC and have been very happy with it. The lack of any integration for versa (for now) made it a non-starter for me. DOS is quiet when dosing but quite loud when doing AWC. Noise is not an issue for me with a basement sump room. I'm using a masterflex for my CaRx, so no experience with the kamoer.

That's my main concern w the dos, it's a bit loud from what I hear. My tank is in the basement and the fish room is directly behind it. Is it loud enough that you can you hear it through a drywalled wall?

I suppose different people have different tolerance levels for noise. To me, DOS behind a wall should be close to inaudible.

My DOS are in my cabinet next to my sump. I barely hear the CA, MG, Alk, ATO, and RE+ dosers. I run my AWC with DOS pumps overnight, from 12 to 6, so I don't hear those at all.

Ok, that's pretty cool. Maybe I should give the DOS a try..
I'm very happy with the DOS. The AWC makes noise like everybody says. The less you change, the quieter it will be, but it does not matter if you run it overnight. Unless maybe if your bedroom is nearby your reef.

Nope, this would be in the basement and our bedroom is far away. I would probably wall mount it with some sort of rubber to prevent the noise from traveling further than just the room it'll be in. I really like the overnight option..

I have been emailing Coral Vue since June 22, 38 emails so far and my kamoer wifi isn't connected to wifi yet. Kamoer doesn't offer support and, in my opinion, Coral Vue doesn't know how to troubleshoot it. Pump might be ok, but just a warning on the wifi. They also don't send you a replacement until they get an old one and look it over themselves, so you're without a pump for over a week.
