I've been thinking of setting up some AWC (automatic water change), but not sure how to do this safely with mu current setup.
Removing the water is easy enough, but refilling worries me.
My saltmix tank is located at the 1.st floor, directly over my tank, which makes waterchanges easy enough, by opening a ball valve and let gravity do the rest.

Is there a reasonable safe way to do the same with AWC?
I was thinking a magnetic valve with a floatvalve for safety, but thinking the magnetic valve could get salt creep and block the flow.
Also, I am unsure how much pressure a floatvalve can take without leaking as I have no experience with these.

All ideas, tips and concerns are appreciated.

Apex DOS would probably do it if you have Apex, but if it’s easy to do by opening a valve why bother, it’s just something to maintain

But I can bump the thread to see if we can get you some more ideas

True. I just like the idea of more stable values by doing small daily waterchanges.
A DOS or similar might work, but will require MANY feet of tubing.
