AWC Setup Questions

I’d like to get an AWC setup going and have a few questions.

I understand the basics, but I’m curious about how people manage it so as not to disrupt the ATO at the same time.

My theory was that I program my apex controlled ATO to shutdown for the time period during the WC, have my doser remove X-Amount of water then replace X-Amount of water and turn ATO back on.

What issues have people run into with AWC..trying to plan for the worst here...

The ATO shutdown is not a bad idea. But with AWC systems you have one pump taking the water out and one pump returning the water. They're generally run in sync so that your water level never changes so you ATO doesn't have to kick on. If you have an APEX most users the DOS pumps and run them simultaneously.

I have a DIY WiFi doser setup with two pumps that are rated for 170mL/min.

I was thinking of disabling the ato simply to eliminate one variable that could create an issue.
