Interested in this sale for a Bubble King but wonder if anyone has an idea why these are so deeply discounted? Wouldn’t want them to go out of business or stop sales in the US and be unable to get replacement parts in the future…

It seems like brs is getting rid of inventory and not going to stock many items from manufacturers not owned by the parent company. At least that how I see it and have read that is happening.

My opinion too. Love being able to get long lasting high quality dreamboxes and skimmers thought with 60% discounts.

These are some of the best non external skimmers on the market in my experience at an unbelievable price.
My only word of caution though is to not oversize these when picking one (you will have inconsistent skimmate issues for sure).

Unfortunately only the 160 and 300 Super Marins are in stock at BRS now... I would have loved to pick up a Deluxe 200 on this sale.

I actually prefer the supermarin to the deluxe but you'll be really hard pressed to find a tank + load thats suitable for the supermarin 300.

3 plastic boxes and a plastic dosing reservoir

I got the Supermarin 300 for “dirt cheap” myself. RE’s build quality is superb - built to outlast me, that’s for sure. lol

It got going on the very first day — don’t even need to “burn in”. Also, it’s super quiet!

I got the supermarin 160, wish I would've gotten the 200

Moving forward, I believe BRS is only selling/stocking items for which they are the *sole US distributor* (at least in some product categories). Of course, this would include manufacturers owned by the parent company, but it also includes many other manufacturers.

DISCLAIMER: I could be incorrect!
