Okay, I got these zoas in yesterday and the polyps didn't look to good even before I put them in my tank; I thought they were all dead. It ends up that I have around 5 polyps opened. How can you tell if a polyp is truly dead? Also, any advice on keeping minis would be appreciated, I've always had a hard time keeping them.

they are def not dead. i would say if the polyp was melting away then that is a good chance it is dead. lol. try putting it in a little more flow lower light

My experience w Mini's: the ones I have are slightly more sensitive, but cant speak for all minis. Been keeping my P04 slightly higher than Zero lately, without letting it creep too high, and my Super Saiyans and Paradise Zs(only true minis I have) look stoked. Its a fine line, and requires constant testing

Yaay more testing! lol

give them some time

Okay. More are starting to open, well on the side that I took the picture of. On the otherside that looked much, much worse (the side that I initially saw), all melted away.
