Awful Smell during cycle

So my tank has been cycling for 1.5 weeks. I started getting a nasty wet dog smell now. Is this normal? Current chems: ammonia = 2ppm, nitrite = 5+ ppm, nitrate = 5 ppm, ph = 8 ppm.
60 gallon tank, live sand, dry rock, dr Tim's bacteria and dosing ammonia to keep it between 2 ppm - 4 ppm. Thoughts?

Stop dosing the ammonia and run some carbon in a reactor or high flow area. Like on in a bag set on the return pump.
