AZMSGT build thread

Over the last couple days I reorganized my electronics.
From this:

To this:

There is a false back panel installed.

I even organized all the power supplies. They are attached to the back with wide zip ties and screws.
The white was the original back panel. I had it originally set up to feed wires through holes but just went ahead and cut the panel out.

Holy cable organization, Batman! Looks great! Basically night and day.

Nicely done. Have you started cycling the DT yet?
Thank you. Yes, the DT is ready to go, problem I am having is that the fish I bought to go in are sick and stuck in the quarantine system. Till I get them healthy the DT waits.

Today my 625 got it’s first inhabitants. I have had several snails and a cleaner shrimp in QT. Now they are in the big tank. YAY.

I’m 2.5 mo into the 4 mo cycle.. hopefully fish will be going in soon.

The 4 mo time is when the first test corals can go in.

Just went through your post, nice, (more like awesome) start so far. I'm in Waddell and I have a 180 SPS reef, if you need any assistance, please let me know. I see your profile are you stationed at LAFB?

The tank now has a handful of snails in it as well as a cleaner shrimp. These went through QT.

Also my 10g nano is QTing some corals I picked up.
zoa, frogspawn, hammer and a couple others. Also in the tank are several snails and a few hermits.

These will get a few more added to it over this weekend then they need to survive the 76 day QT.

A big event will be happening this coming week..come back on Wednesday to see.

awesome build. Following. That waiting to cycle is painful lol. Good for you being patient though

I was fully cycled a month ago the QT process is what I have had to be patient for more than anything. The entire time I was planning on the 4 month cycle. Since I got delayed on getting my fish it’s not a problem that my corals are in QT for now.
