Okay I'll bite because your bumps are cracking me up...it may not work for what I'm looking at though...can this be used to dose co2 in a planted freshwater tank?

Haha. I'm assuming you are targeting a specific tank pH level or would you be counting bubbles?
 
I'd be counting bubbles.
I have an old inline bubble counter here from a calcium reactor I can toss in. You would just need a check valve. Excuse the blister lol. I did some gloveless yard work yesterday.

Oh, and the blue adapter is for if you want to use a paintball style CO2 tank instead of a larger one. That is what I used. You have to fill more often, but it's also lower profile. This is compatiable with either the standard tanks or paintball style. The adapter just screws on and off.
