Thanks, the camera is a Nikon coolpics 4300 I think it is getting to the end of it's useful life for taking tank pictures....They are not as good as when I first got it...If I could stop buying coral and equipment for the tank I could have had a Nikon D300 along time ago.

I got my second one this morning.....Hot is the only word to describe it......What kind of lighting to these things like? I have the first one kinda indirect not quite shaded but no the fullest indirect lighting.....This second one didn't spend as long in the box as the first one......Can these take a little brighter light? I need to place it and want it out front for all to see and enjoy but out front is bright direct lighting although about 30"(24" tall tank) from bottom(tank) to bottom of the light. Might have to move around the ricordea mountain a bit and get it on there.....But that would be direct lighting which won't be on almost all day and only actinic LEDs will be on....What's the low down?
