Hi everyone,

As I inspected my tank today I noticed "bubbles" laying upside under the bottom of rocks. My initial thought was "it's time to panic Rob. Panic. PANIC. PAAAAANIC. But as I glanced with watery eyes starting to form I noticed THEY ARE WIGGLING!! They are not FIRM. THEY ARE NOT GREEN (or other odd colours) THEY ARE CLEAR! So I thought...could they be air bubbles? I stuck my coral feeder in and POOF it was gone...as if air happily disintegrated.

Now I've both seen and felt bubble algae, could it be trapped air?

I have undetectable phosphates using salifert tests and my nitrates are at a 10.

Best pics I can get when the tank is sleeping.

Thoughts tho?

It could be a few different things.

If you started with dry rock it could be releasing over time.

I used to see a lot in ours too but not any more.
