Hi! I just tested all three of my parameters today. Alkalinity increased to 6.7 dKH, calcium is pretty high at 500 ppm, and magnesium is also on the higher end between 1,440-1,470 ppm. I am aiming to get my alkalinity up to around 8 dKH with the B-Ionic two part system, but is it necessary to use both parts if my calcium is already so high? Wouldn’t it make more sense to dose alkalinity only until calcium gets down to a more reasonable level, and then start dosing at equal parts? Thank you :) I also read that it is better to dose the alkalinity in the morning and calcium in the afternoon. I didn’t read that in the instructions, but I will start doing that if it is necessary.
