So I got prime and needed ky 2 parts asap so I bought the 1 gallon B-ionic off Amazon. When it arrived it is liquid contrary to what I am expecting of powders that I need to dillute in RO.

It also has no seals so I thought it is sketchy. I mixed a small portion of both liquids to test it is not just water. The result is the picture below. So is it safe to say it is a legit product and safe to dose it on my tank? First time I bought the gallon jugs so I dont have a single idea. Thanks in advance.

Did you get the one gallon concentrate or already mixed?

Either way... the best way to mix it with either kind is to put the drain stop in your sink and fill with super hot water... place both one gallon jugs in the water... shake each jug for 1-2 mins each and put back in the water... do that for a few hours and then let them sit at room temperature for 24-48 hrs... It should be totally mixed after all that... I use that same mix and thats what I do everytime...

The jugs were already warm when I took it out of the package. I'm just figuring out if it is a legit product. Thanks tho, i'll keep that on mind.

Its legit... thats how it comes man... your supposed to leave it in the saran wrap so the labels dont rub off in the water... Ive been using the same stuff for over two years... guess I dont know

Directions clearly say to add rodi water up to the sticker then place in warm water and mix until there are no solids present in solution... then let sit for 1-2 days

There is no direction like that on the label. So I guess what I bought is the premixed variety. Just thought there is only a concentrated available to save weight when shipping. Guess I'm wrong.

Hey man I've been using b ionic for over 6 years. Gallon jugs come concentrated to save on shipping. They dont need to be heated, but sometimes the alk portion comes clumpy. If it does I would warm up the jugs. The 5 gallon jugs I've found actually should be warmed before mixing.

You can save tons if money buying both 4 gallon containers of bulk reef I believe is 90 bucks.

Shows the instructions label that are supposed to be on the concentrate... the concentrate comes half full hence the need to add rodi water... the non concentrate is already full and mixed, but as they sit for long periods of time the solution settles at the bottom and needs to be thoroughly remixed again

I never gotten the concentrated 1 gallon jugs before. When I was buying them, they came directly from esv topped off. One esv facility is about 15 minute drive from me. But almost every single time theres a huge sheet of baking soda/ something floating in the alkalinity portion that takes darn near forever to dissolve unless I give the buckets a hot shower LOL

I'm almost positive all of the very concentrated 2 parts, are concocted at a certain higher temperature. It would be wise to warm the solution up for mixing. From experience, it's just the alkalinity part I have trouble sometimes with

Thanks for the clarification fellow reefers. Amazon stated what I bought are concentrated but I got a full jug instead, hence I was confused. I also dont see any solids, maybe it was just warmed enough while on shipment.

Anyway, are the jugs really dont have any anti temper seals? Caps was just tightly shut.
