B-Ionic vs SeaChem Marine Buffer 8.3

Hello, what is the difference between using a powder buffer like SeaChem Marine Buffer 8.3 and B-Ionic which is a two part solution. Will corals benefit the same with either one? Is one better than the other in terms of reef water chemistry?

Don’t know the difference but I think most people here will say don’t use a buffer. I don’t know enough to remember why. But there are other ways to get ph up if that’s what you need and
