B Magus Nac-8. Replacement pump

Time has come to upgrade/replace the atman pump. The impeller has decent cracks and are hard to source.

Looking for thoughts or comments on replacing the pump with a dc pump.

Assuming this for a skimmer? I have been using waveline dc2500H. http://www.saltysupply.com/waveline-apex-ready-dc2500h-water-pump.html great pump and it is onsale right now, but the sale may end tomorrow or today

Yea it's for a skimmer . Think it's a direct replacement?
