Baby anemone?

Found what looks like a baby anemone on some live rock.

HArd to tell in pics. Could be a ball nem. They tend to be hitchhikers

It is probably an anemone. At least it looks like it has a foot that is a bit darker in color. Hard to tell kind though. Not aiptasia! That is good. Hopefully it grows and you can see better what it is becoming. Does not look like a rock nem either.

it looks like it could be a baby hairy mushroom

Looks like a ball anemone. I believe ball anemones are actually a mushroom coral.

I was thinking a mushroom possibility too. That is why I said probably. Thanks for chiming in.
