So today I got this baby black clown from work. I didn't notice it until I drop him into my tank, but he has a weird eye. Almost looks like cloudy eye. It's kinda popping out unlike the other normal side. any suggestions on what it is and how to fix it? Sorry for the bad pictures. Lil guy wouldn't stop swimming lol. Thanks
-K

If it just looks popped out of place, then that is usually due to injury and is treatable by using Epsom salt (1 tablespoon per 5 gals). However, when you say "cloudy eye" that can mean an infection has already set in. Look at the pics here and see if you think it matches what you are seeing on the clownfish: http://www.aquarium-pond-answers.com/2009/01/streptococcus-eye-infections.html

If it does, I would play it safe... QT him, and treat with Erythromycin and Epsom salt. It may heal just fine on it's own, but if it doesn't he could lose the eye or the infection could even spread to the other eye rendering him completely blind (which is a death sentence for a fish.)
