It's not as much how YOU store it, but how it was stored in it's time between packaging and selling TO you. Most stores and warehouses that supply them do NOT refrigerate. Nice thing about Brine Shrimp Direct is they DO properly maintain the cysts.

i spend $25 buying the "Brine Shrimp Hatchery Dish" useless DON"T buy it. get a jar and put a air bubbler with eggs 3 scopes that should do the trick

is not hatching, i used room temp. can it be that, temp should be 50°F

Storing Brine Shrimp Eggs
Before we begin, you need to start with viable, properly stored eggs. All brine shrimp eggs need to be stored as follows:

in a tightly sealed container; free from moisture; and in a cool environment at or below 50°F. (Refrigeration is ideal for short term storage, i.e., less than three to four weeks. For longer term storage, eggs are best kept at or below freezing.) see less

indeed yes i am, unfortunately nothing coming out i don't see anything, how long does it take for the eggs to hatch? 1 - 3 days correct?

They start showing up in a day or less and continue to hatch for a few days.

start hatching in 12-14 hrs..can use if ness at 18 hrs,24 is best,to feed the ponies ,start one,then another 12hrs later ,have constant supply

+1 on this one. Surprised too. I start seeing them around 18-24hrs and get full scoops for a few days. Hands down one of my best purchases so far on this hobby

In tank artemia hatchers are NOT recommended for seahorse tanks. First of all, they expose the tank water to nasty bacteria that the cysts are known to harbour. Second, you release Instar I stage nauplii for the dwarfs to feed on. Instar I stage nauplii have a tougher carapace making them harder to digest, AND, being unable to be enriched, don't provide needed DHA for the seahorses. They need to be ongrown to Instar II stage where they can then be enriched before feeding.

Simple but cheap
With dwarfs, you can hatch out an amount good enough for a week of feeding as they won't grow too large in that time period. Just take a feeding amount from the hatching after a day's growth to get to Instar II stage, enrich, peroxide, rinse and feed. The main hatching then you can feed phyto or a greenwater made up of spirulina powder blended in a blender for at least two minutes and stored in the fridge to use as needed.

It probably is. Order high grade eggs and keep them in the fridge. My current bottle has been in there for a year and I still get a ton of shrimp. I don’t have seahorses but broadcast feed them to my DT mostly for a school of chromis and anthias that’s in there. I’m also feeding them to a very small clown in my nem tank.

which brand do you use? the brain i got it said 80%, this one i got

Mine looks just like that. (I may do a few more eggs actually).
Just make sure the cover is tight and put a lamp over it and they should hatch in less than 24hrs. I use the BRS eggs.
