Just looking to id this guy. Came in on a frag before putting the frag in the tank. Thoughts?

can’t quite see it clearly. but it has the coloration of a bristle worm
 
Agree, coloration and I do see bristles suggest it is a bristleworm or a piece of one.

Ok sweet! Rather this guy then a serious pest lol even though I hate these guys, they are so gross!
 
A quick dip for softy and lps in revive helps. Potassium chloride for sps. U don’t have but keeps good majority of the nasty away

I know this will sound bad but I eye ball the frags. Dipping would definitely help!

Yeah I eyeball too and only deal w a few quality vendors. Even then things sometimes pop off. An unpleasant surprise. And I also remount the frags

This does do a huge help either taking the coral off the frag if I could or remounting it onto another frag
