Baby bumblebee snails

Hi all.

Did a quick google search and came across that it’s hard to breed bumblee snail. I have been seeing eggs on the glass for a few months now.

Was looking at my tank in more detail and was thinking I don’t recall buying 12 bumble bee snails.

What did I do right and is this really a rare thing?

Very cool! Mine have never done that. I’ve had a lot of little baby trocus but no bumble bees. I’ve read that it’s is rare for bumble bees to propagate in aquariums.

It is hard to see but those don’t look like bumble bee snails. Can you take one out and get a close up picture? @ISpeakForTheSeas ?

Those look like they might be Lightning Dove Snails (Pictocolumbella ocellata). Dove snails are known to reproduce in tanks.

The stripes are definitely going the wrong way on the shells for Bumblebee Snails.

I think my bumblebee snails reproduced. I am pretty sure because I saw an albino one that I didn't remember adding.

One is a bumblebee the rest are dove

A few of them the white is more yellow (maybe lighting or algae growth). But the patterns are lightning dove like.

I think my peppermint shrimp is eating most of the babies but there is some that survived long enough to get too big to eat
