Hi all, just wanted to share a cool conservation project we are taking part of at my work. I work right on the lower Chesapeake bay in Maryland and this year we got 100 horseshoe crab eggs from a partner department. A lot haven’t survived but we have about 10-15 little horseshoe crabs that have hatched and are doing very well. They’re fed baby brine shrimp every other day and are kept between 17-20
ppt salinity. We will be growing them out and eventually releasing them into the bay.
Welp I can’t get the video to work…sorry it’s hard to see them in the pics.
