Check this guy out, got my new live rock today. What do you think it is?

Not sure if I show add it to the tank but there’s probably more. Rocks came from KP Aquatics and I’m very happy. Urchin was still alive as well.

Just a pistol shrimp. They are pretty cool but if you have the tank in your bedroom they can be annoying.

If you know the location adding a watchman goby will be very cool.

Worst that will happen he will constantly move the substrate around.Sometimes they will bury corals. I personally don't mind the snapping noise.Tells me that they are still around. Also keep in mind that different types tend to pair with different gobies.

Not all species of shrimp pair with gobies and only some species of pistol shrimp bond with specific species of gobies.

He was so small he was translucent. I actually considered one with a goby for my nano. Guess I just need the Goby now. Fantastic rock so far, plenty of life after the 14 hour journey out of water.

He won't pair with a goby. The Florida and Caribbean types don't do that. He will most likely live in the rocks.
