Little update, whatever it is, it seems to be growing. It’s impossible to get a picture but it’s definitely something with a fluorescent green mouth and the tissue it starting to show frilly patterns of green as well (reminiscent of a rock nem but it’s definitely a Stoney). I tried to draw a picture of what it looks like since my phone camera isn’t picking up the details


any ideas?

And it’s not the same color as the euphyllia “whatever” it’s growing on, first picture my guess would be plate coral

I was able to get slightly better pictures on my actual camera. I’ll try again tomorrow as well when it’s at the peak of the light cycle

Totally different! It’s on a pink rainbow wall hammer, zero green on it at all

Skeleton is definitely some kind of LPS. Trouble is a lot of those skeletons look the same. Does it ever extend more? Flesh will give it away. My guesses are caulastrea or cynarina.

Tbh its so small I completely forget about it half the time so I haven’t looked in a while haha. I’m going to keep an eye on tomorrow (and more in general) and see if anything pops out. I made it its own thread/poll for updates and pics!
